Day one.... We wanted day one to be the longest. We drove to our friends the Shearers home in Shiloh, Il for the first leg of our trek. In the military we usually don't say goodbye we say, see you again soon. We know eventually we will see each other again. We have been blessed to have made many friends along the years. I have learned, the Lord puts folks into your lives for different reasons. Some friends are just for a particular season, some for many seasons and some for a lifetime. Each are special, each put there by God for your development whether you realize it or not. We have been friends with the Shearers for 15 years, since before we were married.
Thank you Shearers for our day of rest on day 2.
